	Alone by anotherday Comment: I've voted low on most of the shots with really heavy grain. However, I think it works well in this one. This picture is well composed with great contrast between the light and dark elements. My eyes are continually drawn from the hand holding the hat down to the feet. Well done!

	trillium by tnun Comment: I'm not a big flower nut but this is well done. In a regular entry I don't think I would have voted as high as I did here. I think the grain adds a lot to the delicate look of the flower. This is one of my top pics.

	Empire Sandy by Strikeslip Comment: I don't usually like tilted shots (I've tried them a few times and gotten negative comments) but it works here. I really like the dark, moody feel of this picture. It's almost dream like.

	L'inspiration du peintre by pineapple Comment: My favorite in the challenge. I like the overall hazy look and the way the reflections make the man almost ghost-like...all that and the fact that I love bridge pictures. My only negative would be the cropping. The picture could have been rotated slightly to make the post on the left straight.
