They are NOT Slimeyby freeride21aComment: OOOHHH... I love snakes :-) I had a corn snake for a while, and before that a fox snake... they are beautiful creatures, and definitely NOT slimey :-) Your photo has a lot of glare, and the woodchips are quite burned out. I think I would have liked to see the head in there, and maybe, coiled so you didn't see the background, to more effectively fill the frame. Doing this if possible in direct sunlight without the flash might have been better. |

spicy combinationsby magnetic9999Comment: Hot Hot Hot... :-) I love the water flecks on the pepppers. Very good lighting here as well. Nicely done... I like the fact also that you used the two different types of peppers. I would maybe have cropped down a little of the white.. but otherwise good job. |

Emma G. Nationby autoolComment: Greetings from the Critique Club
Hi Autool... well I must say this definitely got my mind reeling when I first saw it... heheehe... excellent interpretation of the challenge, I really like it. and absolutely beautiful here. This is just gorgeous really
Your lighting is simple, and nice, no harsh shadows, and soft, also the colors aren't too bright which is nice, but not too dull either. Great job on that.
I love your title... and it definitely took some imagination to get this what you got it to look like :-) Great job on that... I have to admit I didn't get the title at first, but with your explanation... wow... it's perfect :-)
Composition is just beautiful here... perfect... the ring falls right in the rule of thirds... absolutely stunning.
I wish this would have gotten a much higher scoring, but it's understandable that people aren't willing to "think outside the box" I think this was a good submission for nude, personally... and very tastfully done :-)
Once again, nice job thats about all I can say.

Chilli?by robsmithComment: This is cute... very very original idea! I like it... from the thumbnail I thought there were goldfish in the icecubes! hehehe... I'm relieved that it's chillies instead. Very nicely done. I'm adding it to my faves

Contrasting Handsby KevinRiggsComment: Good idea for contrast however this isn't a very appealing photo. The lighting is very flat, and the shadow especially from the man's hand is rathher annoying. A solid background might have been nice... as well as having the man's thumb in the photo. Black and white might have been nice for this. |

On Targetby ChrisW123Comment: in focus/ out of focus and veryn nicely done... I'm guessing somone was holding the very edge of the dart? hence the reason you had to crop there... I like this photo a lot. I would have liked all of the dart in focus but that probably wasn't possible. |

Water Lillyby Woody102Comment: Not sure where your contrast comes into play here. I like the softness of the photo though... and the background is awesome! |

Follow that chariotby dasserComment: Hehehe... this is cute... I like how the car is slightly blurred so that you know it is in motion. That painitng is awesome! The bricks on the wall, and the fact that the road is brick also is really nice. I like how the car is going out of the frame, and really seems as though the horse is chasing it. I see what you were going for in contrast here. |

Light As A Featherby rickhd13Comment: Hehehe... interesting... I'm wondering how you got the scale to stick at 100. Nice job though! The lighting isn't very interesting here, but I think it gets the point across. Bothered a little by the lighting around the metal ring, but not too badly. Definitely fits the challenge, although I don't find it to be very appealing photo wise. |
