You've lost a lot of detail in the book and even on the pad of paper. Did you use a flash, sometimes that can wash out the color in the whites? Otherwise just keep that in mind.

This might have worked for repition too :-) This is cool how they are all lined up... very nice photo... looks like they are ready to head back into action... the glare on the closest bus is a little bothersome, but not horrible... and really you have nice DOF here with pretty much everything being in focus... you even got everything lined up nicely :-) -9-

This doesn't say going back to school to me at all... I guess I'm not sure what youw ere trying to achieve besides getting a shot for the challenge... not exactly the most interesting subject, I think having some cars, or even a kid with a backpack walking by might have helped.
