Kicking Katieby Woody102Comment: Funny title. amusing shot, however I guess I don't really find this to be a great sports shot, because of the lack of a ball, had there been a ball in the photo this would have been much better. I like the expressions though and especially "Katie" Just wish there was a ball in there... |

... where it liesby spidermanComment: Amusing. I can't really see this as having action though, and would consider it to be more of a humorous or still life photo. Technically I like the composition, however the ball is extremely blown out and it bothers me that you can't make out any detail, let alone barely being able to see the name on it. |

Airheads Playing Volleyballby BobsterLobsterComment: I'm not sure how you achieved this in camera but i don't really like what happened to it. I just don't really find this to be an amusing, or attractive photo, and it just doesn't look good to me. This might have had the makings of a good sports photo if you didn't have the weird things on it. Sorry. |

Checkmate!!!!by kengurinnComment: Hehehehe good job turning chess into a "real sport " ;-) Really funny idea with the sports towel and the gatorade. I would have cropped off a lot of the extraneous space at the top and maybe some of the left side? Fun though. |

The last time my horse would leadby PaulkComment: What beautiful animals! This looks like it was right before a race, I'm curious why you chose to go with this photo instead of a real action picture of the race. I find this one to be somewhat bland. I also am not very keen on your title. But thats just me. |

Pedal Fasterby Spork99Comment: This is really quite cool. I'm curious how you caught this, how much you cropped, if this person was actually cycling by etc. avery unique sports shot indeed :-) Great composition, everything is very well done, I would have liked it maybe a little brighter but I understand that probably wasn't possible. Was the bike stationary? I don't know how you could get it otherwise. I'm going for a -9- on this shot. Well done! |

Into the Unknownby KoriyamaComment: The lighting here is very cool... and the action of that one moving pawn is great :-) I'm not sure how you did that (a string?) without using your fingers but it's pretty cool, Looks like they are moving on their own accord, hence playing a sport :-) I like your spotlighting effect here, very nicely done. This is a good artsy take on sports challenge. I can't decide whether it is a sport or not, but I was kind of looking for human interaction (thats my point of view) still a solid -8- though. nice job :-) |

Rackingby wetlandComment: Just curious what racking is, I've never heard of it. This looks like dressage to me. I would have cropped in a LOT... So that you get some of the crowd watching, and the horse and person but without the blown out background and the tons of extra ring. |

head over heels for footballby nbortonComment: Great action here! There is so much going on in this photo! One good rule in sports is to crop as tightly as possible, there is a lot of extra grass around that you could have cropped out.... Love that guy in the air though! |

Field Hockey ACTION!by EddyGComment: I like the action that is happening here, good catch however I'm bothered by the fact that there is no ball present in the picture, I was always trained that a good sports photo has to have the ball in it. Thats just what I learned, otherwise nice job... I might have cropped tighter also. -6- |
