Is that a fishing lure? really cool lure, almost looks like a bird or something?! It bothers me that theres no action in the photo, and really even though it says action to follow I just can't image anymore. I'm not sure what you were going for here, but it's not really a "sports" shot IMHO.

This is a fun shot, I love the shadow! Great catch getting him off the ground... did he JUST catch the frisbee? I would have liked to have seen maybe a tiny bit more detail in the white but it's not a huge deal... pretty good composition. I wouldn't have included the border, but I'm not big on borders. Nice clear action shot, good job.

Good cropping here, obviously you couldn't get very close so I'm not going to complain about them not being bigger. Just curious where the ball is... I can't see it unless it's that blur on the left side? I like the motion of the bat, but I wish we could see the ball a little more clearly. So did he hit the shot? Personally I would have cropped out the extra warm up batter on the upper right, but thats just me...

I like this shot a lot. I'm not sure why you choose to put SO much space in the front, I think this actually could have been very effective as a wide short shot. Great action here, it's almost like a whole story book, lots of stuff happening, I almost wonder if there isn't too much. Very effective in black and white! For some reason I just really like the unique look to this shot. -8-

I like your subject, but it doesn't quite look in focus. Was there maybe a lot of dust or something? I like how you left some room for them to come into the photo, however I probably would have tried to go for a shot that was more action oriented, like over one of their big hill jumps or something? My host Dad in Australia was very into Motor biking... and he loved FOX! :-)

Nice detail to the ball here, but not exactly what I've been looking for in this challenge. Nice job however getting the detail in the white laces, fairly good lighting, just not what I think this challenge is about.

Did you glue or tape the ball onto the racket? Interesting idea, although it doesn't look extremely real. Nice positioning of the sun though.

This is quite interesting what you've done here... is that a paintball gun? I find it somewhat disconcerting to see the floating head, but kind of cool as well. How did you do it? The lighting is slightly harsh on part of the mask, but not a big deal. I wish there was some hint of action instead of just a posed shot though.

This is really quite good. You've got the ball in the photo, which is very importatn and you show some great action in the fact the guy is going down... I wish I could see more facial expressions, but thats hard because of the helmets. The main person is quite centered, but I'm not sure you could have cropped any differently. The guy upper left bothers me, the fact that he has his head cut off, but nothing you could do there. Overall a very good sports photo. -8-

I like the idea here... however to make this more effective I might have gone for an obvious swing to the golf club, slowing the shutter quite a bit would have been really cool, although challenging to get the shot it would have really added to the action of this photo. As it is it just looks like the club is sitting still on the grass right behind the ball. I love your DOF though. Also nice job leaving room in the photo for the ball to travel. -7-
