Super modelby redpandaComment: I don't like the colour treatment too much. But I like the subjects and the division in two planes.
In that sense, the colours work well keeping the two planes distinct, just a more natural natural hue on the chimp would have been more appealing (to me, that is). In reality what I like best, and that's why I am commenting, is the delay between seeing the two ladies and then seeing the chimp, and the fact that none of the cameras is actually pointing at him/her. It suggests more than a classic 'I see the photographer and I see the subject of the photograph image", and to me at least suggests a difference between what people see and want to see in a zoo, and what things really are.
