Waiting For Friendsby DebbiComment: Very nice shot, I wonder if a lower shooting angle would have worked even better. The reflection would be lost but the chick's profile could convey more the idea of calling for someone. |

Life Long Friendsby Mark1966Comment: I like the idea, but maybe it would have worked better by showing a bit more of the old ladies' faces. |

Young Loveby avbowlerComment: Lovely composition :)
Maybe it's the way I have my monitor calibrated, but the red in horse on the left looks a bit over-saturated. But again, maybe it's my monitor :)
Good luck! |

House full of light by MarikaComment: Nice composition :)
I personally find both out of focus and saturation in the sky a bit excessive, though.
Once I have seen a shot of a greenhouse lightened up from the inside at dusk, in Copenaghen I think, and it was very effective. If I lived near one of those I would give it a go :)
Good luck! |

Rhododendronby whiterookComment: Nice plant, we have loads of these in my place too and they smell so nice:)
The colour are a bit muted and blueish and there is a lack of contrast, at least on my monitor. I think it would be better with warmer colours either by setting a different white balance in camera or correcting afterwards. Also, a bit of levels or curve correction would give much more contrast.
The background is a bit too present. Maybe burning and/or blurring it in photoshop would have helped.
Good luck! :) |
