Challenge
- Relevant to the Challenge? Yup. That's a shape. ;)

Compostion
- Good or Bad? How can it be fixed? It's a departure from your last three entries. This one has clothes!
- Good focus? No. it's a bit out-of-focus, especially near the top and at the seam onear the pocket.

Lighting
- Good use of light? It's a little over lit, but that may have to do with the changing in background color. Give me some more shadows to show the textures more.

Aesthetics/Artistic Appeal:
- Colors and Contrast. Maybe try this as a B&W form or desaturate everything, but the blues only half way?
- What is my reaction or feelings? I'm trying to reconcile the title to the picture. A little sarcasm? As for the image I am left wanting more.

Challenge
- Relevant to the Challenge? Yes
- Is subject unique (vs. unoriginal or rehashed)? Yes

Compostion
- Good or Bad? How can it be fixed? The composition is good, however, the lighting from the store creates issues.
- Good focus? No. With 1/4 sec exposure you have motion blur. Maybe try a fill flash.

Aesthetics/Artistic Appeal:
- Colors and Contrast. The colors are muted, I'm not sure that I like that.
- What is my reaction or feelings? The feel of the image made me want to avoid it. Maybe because I am a man and don't want to deal with emotional topics? Who knows. I am sure that cropping the store windows out would NOT give the image the same feeling of sadness, but the windows are also on of the weakest areas of the image.

I gave it a 5.

Thanks, Doc and everyone else.

I had a few comments on cropping closer, but I ws afraid to crop more for two reasons. First I wanted the city to be present. I was afraid of not including enough city and getting voted down. Second fear was jaggies from cropping too much. The image shown I have probably already cropped 20%.

I do wish I had spent more time on this shot in camera though. I would have waited for the people in the background to go away. And much like you, Doc I am not good at candids. I took three of these from across the park and without looking.

Maybe I should have gone with the mural of the tree... :)

Crop the bottom edge to remove the shadow below her chin. Very high contrast shot. Maybe a little overexposed, but I'm not sure.

I like the image, however it needs a little more light (expose for a little more... 1/8? 1/6?) Change the shoes. They draw the eyes away from the girl. The mood of the shot is good.

Soften the foreground lights. They are giving her a blue cast in the face and causing shadowing that doesn't work for this one.

Tilt it a bit more so that the center axis goes corner to corner. Nice B&W.

Challenge
- Relevant to the Challenge? Yes
- Is subject unique (vs. unoriginal or rehashed)? Yes

Compostion
- Good or Bad? How can it be fixed? The two trees in the forground are in the way. Zoom in and crop all of the foreground trees. Put the horizon on the top third. Make it about thebarn and the sunrise.
- Good use of Depth of Field? Yes

Lighting
- Good use of light? Yes

Aesthetics/Artistic Appeal:
- What is my reaction or feelings? It's average until you remove all of the foreground elements.
