the idea isn't bad but the editing is sloppy. The silhouette isn't completely black. I can see the out-line of the tank top, even some color variation. Editing around the top leaf and the iPod is also obvious and unfortunately distracting.

What could have you done to improve this shot? Well my opinion is that this is nothing special. Taking into consideration what type of photography wins on this site this is a photo not "worth" remembering. It doesn't stand out. It's just a picture of a train standing. As others have mentioned, crisp, clear and good composition but very interesting. "Anyone" could have taken the shot if you know what I mean.
