VERY imaginative! You've done a great job showing the texture of this mushroom with your lighting. I like also how you've diagonally positioned the mushroom and directed the light so it looks like the sun IS the source of light.

Nice find for a pattern. In the overall image, the black object on the left side of the image is a bit distracting however the colors are nicely saturated.

Interesting perspective on this image and a great idea for a pattern. I think the overall image may have been better if the pattern had covered either more or less of the image. As it is, the dividing point is close to the center of the image. Also, blocking the light to darken the face may have helped to make the pattern stand out a little more.
