Moon Lightby jacoloComment: unfortunately you're up against a number of great moon images, this seems to have come over slightly over-exposed which gives the image an out of focus feeling towards it Moon exposure thread. There is a good rule of thirds (vertical) that added to the composition |

Flower Childby vergComment: Seems to be exposed for the sky which is great and nice and blue, but I really want to see the expression on the childs face. If this was possible I think it would be quite a powerful image as the angle of the camera adds to the fun the child is having |

Druken Fairy Entering The Woodsby GeckogirlComment: Outrageous border! they don't usually do too well on DPC, nor images of peoples trinkets! good luck though, the photo made me giggle so it must have something to it. Main critism is that the focus seems a tad soft |

In Hidingby michael5014Comment: Well he is definately in his environment! There are a few blown out white patches that are a little distracting. The out of focus leaves at the front add to the image I think (makes the viewer think your tracking it!) Colours are nice, just wish we could see more of the face |

Historic Winchester Cathedralby kanoComment: Looks nice and peaceful, here's my 2 pennies worth, there is some granular noise in the sky that could be sorted with Noise Ninja etc, or on some cameras there is a custom setting for long exposure noise reduction. If you look closely there is some JPEG artifacting around the spires, check the histogram to see if it combing (lots of broken lines). Finally there is slight converging lines that can be sorted with the transform tool (however, not sure if this is allowed in basic editing). |

Lost in Memoriesby BrielleComment: Interesting picture, really like it, I'll be watching this one to see how it does. A lot of people might be using LCDs and it is amazing how this image changes with the angle that you are sitting at. I checked the white/black balance and at exactly the right level it is perfect! (if you move the laptopscreen back and forth it creates quite an eerie effect! I hope people don't say it is too dark. Good luck |

Sentinels Guard the Illusionby raishComment: this image looks very snap shotty, the twig in the foreground is off putting. I imagine if this was shot on the other side of the river at an angle it could have been much better. Sorry to be so blunt |

incredible lightby surfwakeskateComment: Not quite sure what is incredible about this light.. I like the angle you've shot. I think it is important to include something that has a crisp focus in the image, nothing is really apparent here. |
