This is a fave in the challenge for me. Like another entry I saw, it speaks the proverbial "volumes". While you certainly didn't use the new rules - you didn't have to. Everything is so dramatic in this image, from the writing on the door facing to the curtains halfway hanging to the scar on dad's eyebrow, to the beautiful smiling mother with the unbuttoned pants holding her precious infant. This is definitely a harsh environment at it's finest (worst) and deserves a much better score than I'm sure it will get. Thank you for submitting such a powerful picture.

Probably going to get hammered but I really like the image. You really took a chance by entering this (religion, politics and America aren't usually high scorers) but this shot evokes emotion and was technically done well. 9 from me.

Good luck with this. Frankly, I like the concept and think the noise works nicely. The only thing I'd critique are the creases on the backdrop. They do sorta distract me a bit but I'm quite fond of the image overall. 9 from me.

Congrats for reaching the top ten with this fantastic shot Shez. I didn't vote in this challenge but I would've definitely ranked it up there. The colors are bursting and the composition is great. Good job!
