Larva Lamp in a Cold Climateby raishComment: I'll admit, I'm a bit confused by this one. I'm not sure how it relates to the challenge, and the title isn't helping much. I don't really see a connection between the plant and the lava lamp, and I don't understand why you called it a larva lamp. Anyway, all that being said, I kinda like this as an abstract shot. It has a neat green glow to it, and I like the little blobs sticking out of the bottom... the one reminds me of a snail. Hope something in all that ramble was helpful :) |

Real Loveby irish_princess87Comment: This might have made more of an impact if less of the words were hightlighted. You've used the shallow dof and lighting to key in on the important phrase very nicely, but it's hard to resist the urge to try to read all of the highlighted text. |

I love a walk in the snow at twilightby tojlewisComment: Interesting shot and lighting, though it feels more like a daytime shot which was edited to have the night feeling since it has such a bright edge on the footprints. I like the diagonal composition and how you got whole footprints in there instead of cutting one off. One of those shots in the challenge that definately needs the title for me to make the connection to love. |

I miss you, pumpkin...by EseiaComment: This one definately needs the title to help it meet the challenge in my opinion. I feel sadness and lonliness without it. Interesting background with the foggy window, but the pumpkin itself seems a bit dark. |

Where my heart really is.by MuntzsterComment: Not sure that I get the connection between the bottles and the leaf, but it was an interesting way to display them and keep the same color scheme. I think taking this from a slightly lower angle would have helped you to get rid of the little bit of the table at the bottom and still not lose the tip of the leaf. |

Sweetyby natalka9Comment: Cute idea with the snuggly expressions, but probably would have been better from a different angle. Also looks like some poor processing around the white goat since it has a lightened halo around it. |

First Kissby sallyjo1Comment: Cute shot at first glance, but after looking at it a bit longer, it seems very staged and not as spontaneous as the title would let you hope for. The facial expressions are awkward... the boy looks like he's sniffing her cheek and not necessarily giving her a kiss, and I can't decide what the girl's expression is saying. A nice setup though with the clean background and the soft lighting. |

Unfaithfulby HighNoonerComment: Nice vibrant complimentary colors, but parts of the yellow look blown out. Not sure that this photo depicts love to me without the use of the title. |

Sandprintby tiggermoComment: A bit static with the centered composition for me, but I do like the angle and the sand texture. Interesting border with the slight variation in color and the shadow. |
