This shot needs no title, no explaination, to fit into the challenge. Nice expressions on both. Seems a tad grainy, but you handled the white fur nicely without any blown out spots. What a cute kitty!

I see where you're going with this one, but they seem a little disconnected from each other... no eye contact, body language etc. that would indicate that they're friends.

Very cute setup! Love the reflection... as others pointed out, a boost in the fruit brightness would be helpful here. I didn't get it at first with the title, but as soon as you 'see it'... you can't miss it.

Ahh, finally... a shot that just SCREAMS love when it pops up on the screen. fantastic lighting, great composition. But I'm sure a few other people have told you that already. This is the kind of shot that gets all the comments! Just beautiful.

I'm not sure if you're saying you love your dog, or the dog loves his toy here. Either way works. The expression on the dog's face is either too aloof, sly or sleepy for my tastes, though I realize pets don't always cooperate as models. The other thing I find distracting here is the environment... furry dog blanket, blinds laying in the background (?).. just stuff everywhere. I start wondering what it all is instead of focusing on the main subject. Hope there's something helpful in all that!

I expected the flower to be overdone in this challenge, but this one is a bit different than the typical shot, which is nice. I like the color and texture of the empty space at the top, I think it compliments the flower nicely. There seems to be a bit of area on the flower where the light is a bit harsh, making it lose it's color, but otherwise very nicely done.

The Beginning

I think when first looking at this photo, it portrays hope to me more than love... looks like a person praying. But I'm guessing that the hands belong to two different people, and you're portraying the beginning of a romance (hence the title)? If that is the case, perhaps a bit of editing would help to bring out the slightly different skin tones of these two hands, to show that it is indeed two different people.

I like the bright colors, and the unique subject... almost looks like it had the HDR treatment everyone is into these days around here, but that seems to be just the way the subject looks. I wonder what this guy is advertising out there on the street? I definately needed the title here to make a connection to the challenge.
