Handcrafted Lagers & Alesby Keith_WComment: The bottles are tilting to the right. I don't think it's a good idea to make the audience feel drunk even before the buy a bottle : )
I also think the background is distracting and out of place. Either a clean sweep background or a wooden bar or pub table would have been more appropriate. |

2010 - Evolution of the North American compact carby david_cComment: Nice light on the outside of the car. I'm not so sure about the blue inside : ) I don't know if this would have been feasible, but almost all car ads have a wet ground. That creates a reflection of the car, which makes the image a bit catchier. I think that if you added water to the ground, it would have made this pop! |

Sold Coldby SEGComment: I'm not exactly sure what this product is. It might be easier for me to figure it out if I saw a little more of one of the sides too instead of an almost straight-on shot. |

iPodby DCrest01Comment: Product shots are usually characterized by very "clean" shots. This is not as clean as I would have liked. The main light is too hard and casts distracting shadows on the background. The texture of the background is also distracting (check any magazine--the backgrounds rarely have texture). The exposure between the ambient light and the screen is pretty well done, but I would have exposed the screen just a little longer so that the "white" part of the screen would actually be white. Then you could bring down the "blacks" of the screen in post-processing. |

Girl From Malawiby gsalComment: Gorgeous light and an overall very clean, beautiful image! Centered composition works perfectly. Her stare is arresting. |

The Classical Toy by gsalComment: Wow, you shot this with a lens that goes down to f/3.5 but you still managed to shoot at f/2! Impressive : )

I Love My Bababy vladoComment: She has an incredible face. I'm not sure if it's the camera or the processing (based on the great lighting, I'm going with processing), but it looks like there was a fair amount of data loss, which hurts the quality. There also appears to be a lot of chromatic abberation (particularly noticeable in the heavy cyan halo on the top right side of her head). It's too bad about the quality because this is an otherwise great image! |

I Love my Big Sisterby snakurinnComment: The light on their faces looks great. I love how the light falls off right at the edge of the frame on the left. I think the hair light (particularly on the girl) is too bright and there should be a little more light on the boy's pants so he doesn't blend in with the background so much. Otherwise, great capture of their expressions. |
