Quiltersby drydocComment: The white balance looks a little off. There is a heavy cyan tinge to the image. If the image were to have any type of color cast, I think yellow-orange would work best because it would fit with the "old time" feel of the image. I would have also loved to see a tighter crop on the lady to the right. She looks like she is very proud of her work and loves to play the part! |

"OK, let's go to ................"by GlanniComment: This is a candid shot, not a formal portrait. Because of that, both girls are in awkward positions since they are mid-stride. The light in this area is beautiful, but with such a deep depth of field and lots of crisp words, the girls must compete within the frame with all of these other elements. |

The Court Jesterby InsomniacComment: Great balance between the highlight and the shadows on his face! The expression is also perfectly in character, which helps make this image. |

Freshby colorcarnivalComment: She has such beautiful eyes that I'm sad to see one of them blurred like that. It makes her face look unsymmetrical, which seems strange. She has beautiful skin, but since this is an advanced editing, you could have done just a little bit of spot editing to make her look absolutely flawless, which is usually a desirable element in a portrait, especially of a girl in her age bracket. That said, this is still a nice portrait. |

Proud by StructorComment: What a wonderful character! I also love the quality of the bokeh. The background leaves just a hint of the environment, and I think it is the perfect amount of a hint. Very well balanced contrast as well! |

Girl on Beachby lilnukeeComment: In portraits, the subject is usually engaged with the viewer. She does not look like she even knows you're there. |

Store Clerk at Radishby mathewjsandersComment: I love all the elements in this image, from the apron to the shelves in the background. I'm glad you used a fairly large DOF because all of those little details help create a wonderful atmosphere. The only thing I would like to see is a little bit more sharpening to bring out the detail in his face. |

You like 'em?by BeggaComment: A tighter crop would have eliminated some of the distractions in the background. Also, be careful about having background elements growing out of the subject's head. |

Lavender Ladyby DistantColoursComment: The colors are perfect. The light on her hair is beautiful too, but I wish you had bounced a bit of light into her face to get a catchlight in her eyes. |
