Because of the strange perspective on this and the fact that it's a reflection that allows some detail through, it was a bit difficult to figure out what this was at first. If you were going for the abstraction, you definitely hit your mark. if you weren't, maybe you should have added a bit more context for the viewer.

I don't think the cloth is very appealing in this image. I would have preferred something that looked more like a natural setting for a corkscrew, like a rich-looking table with a wine glass in the background.

It's really hard to get a picture of someone eating that looks attractive. Eating, for whatever reason, just never looks nice in a photograph. On-camera flash doesn't make this look appetizing either.

This should be a lot sharper. Adding a bit more depth of field to show some really nice condensation on the bottle would help. I also don't think the over-exposed background is very flattering to the subject.

To me, the bottom part looks almost like the Titanic sinking on its side. Not sure why.

Where Did She Go?

I absolutely love the double reflection in this. The reflections paired with her expression are amazing.

The one part that I don't like is the color treatment. The dull, yellow-tinted colors give the impression that old age is dirty and sickly. I haven't tried to convert this into black and white, but I think that that would have given more of a nostalgic feeling, which I think would fit better with her expressed emotion. I think she still looks great--just nostalgic.

She needs to be in some extreme heels! I also would have preferred a bit of context instead of a black background, though I understand that would have been much harder to hide the other half of the model that way.

What an unfortunate placement of the pine needles behind his head. That kind of hair on a bird is only for cartoons : ) Too bad this guy had his back to the sun, forcing you to blow out the background.
