Contents under pressureby sinistral_leoComment: Wow! Quite a capture! Either you shot in burst mode or you have an enviously precise shutter finger : ) The detail of the cork hitting the glass is awesome. Did the glass survive? |

a light snackby BrennanOBComment: Nice set-up, but I think you tried to pull out too much texture, especially in the glass. It makes the glasses and the bottles look dirty. I love that the marble is broken--unexpected throw-back to ancient Greece, which is what still lifes with wine always make me think of : )
On an unrelated note, I'm guessing this was taken by an American because of the color of that cheese. Cheddar with wine makes me want to cry : ) |

Morning Afterby AmmieComment: I love the story that the title adds to this. The colors and the background also add a lovely country atmosphere that I really enjoy. Great use of negative space too. |

Never drink aloneby LtrouardComment: I appreciate the geometry in this, but I wish there was a touch more light on the bottle and glasses. |

Icewineby gg3rdComment: I don't think the tilt adds much for me. It seems a bit extreme, like the bottle is going to fall out of the frame any second. I love the light on the background though. |

Gobletsby franktheyankComment: I love the texture inside the wine glasses. BnW was a perfect choice for this. |

Fine Tawny Portby BrinComment: I love the colors and the soft texture of the background. It has a great subtly exotic feel. Wonderful vignette too. |

A Glass After Darkby h2Comment: Now THAT is how you do moody lighting. The amount of separation between the subjects and background is perfect. |
