Free Smellsby camphanComment: Blue Ribbon! I went through 'em all and this is definately it (of course I haven't picked THE winner yet) but I'm confident this time. Great job, monochrome, sharp, nice tonal range. Superior photo- at least to me. |

The Other Side ofby CutterComment: This photo does the best job of the 'landscape' requirement of the contest, in a real (not forced/contrived) way. This deserves to finish in the top three. Great job lighting BTW. I like the backlight, very effective! Congrats! |

Icy Gaze by LalliSigComment: I know everyone is busy judging/voting on the other contest but for what it's worth, I thought this deserved at least someone's comments- this is a GREAT shot. The color, the eyes, the framing, everything is superior. Congrats- I have something to shoot for. 10. |

Recalling Janet Leighby hokieComment: Not sure where this will finish, but my guess is in the top 3. I like the shadows and shading and lighting. The palm comes the closest to being blown out but you made it. Great shot. |

Of Purityby mattmacComment: Superior job on the eyes, nice dreamy quality, slightly out of focus but I think it helps the overall image. I scored you way high. Congrats on a great photo. |

The Watcherby IreneMComment: I went through all the entries twice before I voted. This is my blue ribbon winner- which is probably the kiss of death (sorry). Great example of how much you can pack into a B&W image, this would have been quite different in color. Nice job! |

In the darkby nickstyleComment: Great, great use of shadows and shade to convey, enhance the model's mood. Hoping for a high finish for you- this is a very nice photo. |

Her Eyes...by richabhatiaComment: I don't always (actually seldom) agree with everyone else, but I loved this shot, the perspective, the framing, the B&W, everything is superior. |

Smileby BigKComment: Nice, nice shot. Great tone and tack sharp. Super use of space and you go from black/black to bright white without blowing anything out. This is my pick for at least a Top 10. |
