1st of all I want to say I like it. The feather being off center is a good touch. The overall scenery is good. I like being able to see the rocks/pebbles at the bottom of the lake. Fairly clear water. I also like your DOF. The only thing that is just not doing it for me is the brightness of the shot. The sky is too bright and that bleeds down into the water. Good job. Happy shooting.

Not bad.... I think the wind blown petal is a good touch. It adds to the interest of the shot. I am not a big fan of the background here. I think the flowers in the back detract from the subject. The colors are nice and fit the "pastels" challenge quite nicely. Good job. Happy shooting.

Not bad but I do see some issues with your shot. 1st of all I like to see the flowers off center like you have done. I think that adds some interest. Also there are some very nice pastel colors. (that works perfectly for this challenge.) However it does seem that the focus is off. I would have liked the flower in the foreground very crisp and clean (it looks slightly fuzzy). Then the other flowers in the clump slightly out of focus. Unlike quiche comment below, I think your crop is fine. That little blob doesn't bother me a bit. Happy shooting.

I see where you were going with this. However, I feel that it is WAY too busy. You have captured the feeling of fast and furious but I just think that less would be more. You have turned a motion blur shot into almost an abstract shot. Sorry but this just doesn't do it for me. Happy shooting

1st of all let me say congrats on the ribbon. This shot is stunning. I am a sucker when it comes to waterfall shots. I love the water....the sky...oh and last but not least, the subject of the shot, the mountain. The only place in the shot that could use improvement is almost dead center. The sun is a bit bright there. For me that is pretty minor. Again congrats and happy shooting

Your DOF is very nice on this. Perfect focus point for this type of shot. The details/textures are also quite nice. However I think it would have added interest to it if the pearl / bead was more off center. Happy shooting.

Interesting shot. Works perfectly for this challenge. I had no idea what it was until I read your description. I like the multiple colors illustrated here. Also you have nice leading lines that lead the eyes through the shot. Also I think the lighting turned out nice. Overall I think you did a good job with this capture. Happy shooting

I'll start out on subject matter. Macro yes...puzzle not so much. At just a glance I can tell that this is a flower. Granted. I couldn't identify what flower. I am sure that hurt your score some. As far as the shot itself, it's not bad. I think this works well as a b&w. I think that the crop should have been brought in slightly on the right. In the top right corner there is something that has kindof peeked into the frame that is a bit distracting. Otherwise good shot though
