Aw man seeing this shot makes me miss NOLA. I used to go at least once a month. I don't know these performers but man that kid with the trumpet is playing his heart out. Nice shot I like the b&w. I think its a nice touch. Nice DOF. Good job. Happy shooting.

Better late than never on this critique right. Interesting take on the challenge. I think it should have placed higher just because it is a very creative shot. There are some distracting light specs in the water. This tells me that maybe a different light setup or different time of day would have been better. Also I am really not sure about the sky/clouds. I think a bit distracting. I love the frog. He kind of made me chuckle. Happy shooting.

Interesting take on this challenge, It did quite well in voting too. The color of the water is great I love that deep blue color contrasted with the brown on the frog. That just works for me. I think your crop is a bit too tight on the left. It almost seems to be crowding his webbed foot a bit. Happy shooting

This is a nice shot. Or do I need to say two shots. I really do like this. As mentioned below there are some dust specs. But to be honest I probably would not have noticed them on my own. They are pretty minor. I can see the line slightly but as you pointed out, you left that intentionally. Also that doesn't bother me. The skyline is nice and the flower is nice. Good job. Happy shooting.

I am not a stock photographer so I don't know if this would actually qualify as stock. However it is a nice shot. I disagree with the comment below about the sky. I like the mean looking clouds. For me that adds interest. Also I don't think the crop is bad and I like the detail given to the tree and grass. Happy shooting.
