low pressure sodiumby taseComment: Why did you choose something so boring and uninteresting?
That being said your big tall skinny thing has some sensor dust problems as well. You know instead of this you could had been photographing something beautiful an interesting. |

Shyby magenmarieComment: what I said to the other guy...lol
Your photo is not bad, the only thing I can find wrong with it is...
1. It's a flower = no imagination.
2. It's a white and or black background = no imagination.
I think of flowers as something easy and pretty to coast on for a decent vote and with the right setup you can really crank'm out (note to self, order greenhouse) We almost have a flower show as it is and I just want to kick people out of their safety nets into so real challenges.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to impart without malice because it isn't.
Good luck in the challenge..
BTW, I gave you a 6. |

Hangin' Onby fotomann_foreverComment: I think your photo is over sharpened and the white background really isn't working. The poor guy looks so sad... |

Blue Umbrellaby elizadebComment: Nice scene but you haven't shown a good or otherwise use of negative space.
Your eyes should drawn to one thing in the photo supported by background.
like what if you had a blurred sunny grass as your background, your eyes would go straight to fisherman... That would be a good use of neg. space, understand? it supports not detracts. |
