Chocolate Nudeby PaulEComment: My worst ever. Blah - it took ages to carve that chocolate. I'm blaming my monitor calibration. |

Urban Twilightby NerdJNerdBirdComment: Davy - great dynamic range. I assume you did the whole HDR thing - very tastefully mapped. Not sure if you could have cloned out the blue sign on the wall as that takes away from the geneal flow of the eye.
Well done. |

wraped upby directionsforpestComment: Hi Hannah,
Is this a self-portrait? I do like what you have done with the lighting here - especially how the shadows curve around the arms and emphasise the ribs. Nice and soft, and an excellent angle. The pose seems to have met with mixed reactions - it that sense it has been effective in elliciting a response. I'm not sure what pp steps you went thought, but do agree with a number of commentors that it seems as it some detail has been lost. |

squareby directionsforpestComment: Hi Hannah,
Looks like you've been hit by the DNMC crowd. I'm not really sure what you were aiming at with this shot so I will leave off the commenting. It's worth noting that to do well on DPC you need to give the voters what they want.
Ignore the comment by hahn23 - he is a dick. Takes great nature shots, but for all that still a dick with his commenting.

taped offby directionsforpestComment: Hi Hannah,
I love the soft, diffused feel here. Would love to know exactly what editing you did. As posthumous said - it is 'emotive', although I prefer his statement that it is iconic.
I think your score has been hit by two forms of voting-trolls: the DNMC crowd who would have penalised you for the section on the left, and the expert-editing crowd who want to see the top editign show-cased in this challenge.

Flowerby oscarmeyerComment: Hi Oscar,
Congratulations on your effort here. I think your basic composition works very well for the challenge. I did a fair bit of experimenting for this challenge but didn't enter as my efforts were poor. My problem was too much noise in by exposures due to the light factor. I never would have guessed that you had used a flashlight to expose this (an excellent idea to get round the editing limits). Looking at your details here I think you could have upped your ISO to get more pop into that flower. Nice effort though.
