Heartburnby buzzrockComment: I like the idea, but difficult to do and have the model stay still enough to avoid motion blur. You might want to consider having the model stay still while someone else traces the heart or maybe adding a burst of rear curtain flash to help provide better definition in the model. |

Backyard Commandoby 3eyedcrowComment: Great capture. You might want to bump the contrast slightly with curves or levels to give a true black to add a bit more punch. |

Wheelsby JeniYComment: Now there's a blast from the past. Nice use of DOF bringing us this slice of nostalgia. |

USS John C. Stennisby BeeCeeComment: Impressive ship, but you needed to get your camera a little higher to keep the foreground foliage from overlapping the ship. Also, a slightly looser crop might have made the frame feel less crowded. |

Boatsby darixComment: Nice beach scene, well exposed with acceptable DOF. Also good use of the seaweed to form a line drawing the eye into the picture. The clear sky, however, is not very interesting and takes up half your frame. Crop out 2/3 to 3/4 of the sky and try a more panoramic format and see what you think. |

Old & Newby bnileshComment: Interesting scene with the juxtaposition of the old and new, but I think a tighter crop would have improved this. There's just a bit too much foreground and the washed out sky is distracting. The oxen and cart would also be more visually interesting placed towards the lower left corner driving into the picture. |

Blue Angelsby zymaraComment: Certainly an excellent subject, but there's a lot of noise in the sky and you're just too far away for your zoom. I'm afraid this is a shot that requires an equipment upgrade to improve. |

Worldwide Supply ... In Time of War or Peaceby PhantomEWOComment: Nice plane, but the chainlink fence adds nothing here, especially with it out of focus. If it had to be included, putting it in focus and letting the plane go slightly soft might have been a better compromise. |
