I do generally like selective desaturation however here it doesn't really work for me. The one bright green area in the middle of the picture seems to be to small to make sense of it and the purple off to the sides also ends up being a little off balance. Maybe the pink blossems could have stood out more to create more interest, as it was it took me a minute to realize they were pink.

Perhaps if you had taken a wall with many of these tiles it would have met the challenge more appropriatly as it is, to me anyway, you have taken a picture of one tile with a lot going on in it. So to me this is a picture of a picture. The background blends in with it to much for my taste and there is no one point of interest.

This is not a visually appealing or interesting image for me, it also seems a little out of focus. Perhaps I am just missing the point, I am sorry to comment without leaving any areas I might improve.

I like the idea of the picture to show busy hands however for me the photo lacks interest, in colour or composition. There seems to be no focal point or any areas of interest, the colour is bland and so is the crop. Sorry sometimes I feel its hard to remember it also needs to be visually appealing along with meeting the challenge.
