Thanks everybody for your comments, the blue haze over the mountains is the famous chromatic aberration known to ocurr in the Canon powershot "A" series cameras, You need certain conditions for it to be this noticeable, and I seem to have found those conditions in this photo, also the noise in the sky a problem that could not be fixed with the despeckle filter, maybe this is why the moon seems so blurry, but since there is no spot editing in DPChallenge... well, I guess I found the limitations of my camera with this night shot.

IMHO, I think that the top of the picture is distracting, you could have given us more land, or no land at all, maybe this would have helped this beautiful picture
