I like the shallow DOF in this pic. I think I would have tried to go even more shallow. I think this photo would benifit from a different crop as the bottom half of this pic leaves me wanting more. I would have tried to emphasize the white petals among the green leaves and the trunk of the tree. Since this is a photjournalism challenge I would have gone with a title such as "Flower and Garden Show This Weekend" or something like that.
