Mmm, this is a beautiful picture. The morning mist and rays barely caressing the skin. I gave a 7 on this. Not because it's bad or anything. There's a certain mood lacking, but because of my lack of photography knowledge, I don't know what's missing to the show.
I felt like if you could have worked a little more nature into the shot, I'd almost give it a 10. Very well taken shot though.

Very new child indeed. I'd say maybe the shot needs a little Gaussian Blur to it to give a very warm surreal atmosphere.
I wish I could tell you exactly the pin pointing area to where it gives you that little exta "umph" and wow factor to make it to a 7. There's an atmosphere missing to the shot. I don't know what it is.

Personally, if this were to be framed, I'd say not those huge gigantic portrait frames, but rather a small 6 by 4 frame will do.

Very creative is the word I can say for this one. The baby is adorable. I think it's lacking a focal point though. Some areas are a bit too blurry. I do love the concept going for this composition; it's working very well. Only if the baby had her/his hands around the camera. I'd throw a 10. Instead I gave a 7.

I know it will be disqualified because of the text and a bit more, but I just wanted to say, it's a great shot. The composition compliments the model. I gave this one a 6. Having that glow for the model is great, but then again I don't see how it fits the challenge despite a great portrait shot.

This is an unbelievable shot! That tiger getting attacked squinched even. I hope it's just playful demeanor. I have this shot a 7 though. I might have given it a 9 or 10 if you could go for a faster shutter speed to have that pause effect on the paws. Using black and while on this works fairly well, the framing works really good in this composition.

Can't Wait for Spring

There were quite a few baseball gloves being shot, so this was given a 5 because it lacks the location compared to the others I've seen. It would have scored a bit higher if there was some sort of background to show the wait for spring. It's a good shot though!

TOO EARLY

A lot of people have used clocks. The picture itself is small and grainy, so I gave a 4. There isn't much going on in this shot, in this case it's not really good. It fits the theme so that score was given. If you could have shown more to the picture, like a grungy person stuck in bed unwilling to come out, might have worked better.

The shot is rather blurry, so I had to take off points there. It's also quite small. I do like the concept being worked on though. Are you sure it's napping though? It looks very posed. Plus the part of the head is chopped off! Maybe cropping out the ladies at the corner might work a bit more and giving the guy his head back. For this shot, I gave a 4.

I had to give this one a 4. A very plain shot. The black and white works well, but there is no real subject. I read the title to give me a bit more understanding to the picture, but it doesn't make real sense to me. But maybe this picture was taken at dawn, so I thought it would fit the challenge. I gave that score because it probably fits the challenge.

Honestly, I don't understand the picture. I know it says "Feb1st" as the opening date, but I'm not sure if a too late or early. The picture doesn't have that extra "umph" in it. It could be because it was too cloudy. Something in the composition doesn't work very well is what I'm trying to say. So for that I gave a 4.
