Candleby merlsComment: Good idea, but, perhaps, because of the nature of the glass, it appears out of focus. Right, why should you be blamed for the glass, but you picked your subject, and have complete control in a studio setting. |

Nice picture, good comp. But can't see the light subject and white background aspect. The effect is there, but only as a result of pre- and/or post-processing. |

Tough call here...if you want to think of the curl of frosting as the subject then it works, light on white. However, I'm forced to consider what the title tells me, that is, the cake is the subject, in which case, there's no background. Sorry |
