Under the Plum Treeby scotthadlComment: This was a pure and simple back-lit photo because the background was in deep shadows and I didn't want to blow the highlights the background goes to black. Nothing tricky about it.

Herpetology 101 (Pseudacris Regilla)by scotthadlComment: I should have had him in a glass jar or pined to a dissection board. Or even better had him sitting on a handful of colored pencils with an apple and some books with a school bus in the backgroud, I forgot all the cliche elements I wasn't being very creative ;-) |

Cathedral Parkby scotthadlComment: funny thing about the tilt I tried several things to make this image perfectly vertical and no matter what I did it seemed to tilt left or right maybe a bit of an optical illusion as none of the supports are straight they all have a slight curve.

Felis Catus Abstractusby NuzzerComment: I felt like the motion blur was not bold enough to be intentional so I only gave this image a 4. I would have gone higher if the image had been sharper or and more panning blur. I did think this image was more abstract than many other entries. Just my two cents. |
