Numbers by Connie (Red Challenge)by ElaineComment: Personally I like this better than the original. Good depth of field and colour. Composition and subject matter are a tad boring to me, but then so was the original. |

Hand With Pearby ragamuffingirlComment: What a shame the bacground is so distracting - had this been against a plain bg, I thing it could have been a real winner. The odd red marks running from the top of the pear to the edge of the frame are weird too, they don't seem to be part of the bg as they actually come across the front of the pear. |

Working Girlby idnicComment: A great idea. Love the colours and the potential depth of field. Shame it hasn't quite come off though - I think a bit more needs to be in focus in the foreground. A shame, with the focus just right this would have been a top scoring shot. |

Edgy?!?by librodoComment: I like this, particularly the colour treatment, but one thing is really bugging me. No-one can hold their hands like this, so evidently the photo is rotated to show the hands in this composition ... but it just doesn't come across as natural which is spoiling the whole thing for me. Such a shame. |

Indian Mehndiby ARMY_DOCComment: Are those the hands of a wax model, or does this show an over enthusiastic use of noise reduction software. Lovely colours, but the hands are far too plasticky to be appealing. |

Lava Nightsby scottieprecordComment: I'll bet your lava lamp shows a much broader range of colours than we see here.
My idea for this challenge was not dissimiliar to this, but with a coloured light ball rather than a lava lamp. In the end I ditched all my shots and did not enter, much for the same reason that I don't think this will score high. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm only trying to help.
My ball glowed pink, red, orange and green, and yet when I shot it on 2 secs I could only ever get two of those colours showing, plus a large chunk of white. I'm not sure what the answer is, but perhaps some kind person with more experience would give advice for avoiding the problem another time. |

Waterwallby CraigFComment: The light seems quite harsh in this shot and it is a shame that the overall scene has little of interest. You've shot the water well, but somehow it isn't quite enough to make this scene create a 'wow'. Perhaps having something in the foreground, or someone on the 'bridge' above the water (is that a bridge - I'm not sure). |

Roseby LKMoteComment: Not a bad picture of a rose, but not exceptional either. Composition is very central - would be much better off centre. The out of focus background a bit distracting, it might work in colour, but not so in b & w. |
