Little Oneby timfythetooComment: I can never get my cats to stay still long enough to look into the lens (without trying to lick it anyway).
As with all good portraits you've managed to capture the eyes well - but the DOF is so shallow that the outside corners seem quite soft. |

Harbor Ropeby rupypugComment: you've overxeposed the foreground element with a very strong burst of flash - not sure what camera you are using but if it's not a SLR maybe you dont have complete control over the exposure and this is a situation you shouldn't try to take photos of
- if you do have a SLR then either reduce the flash output or the apeture so that the rope is correctly exposed - and then slow the shutter speed to allow more ambient light and expose the backgtround correctly. |

Washed Ashoreby Absinthe75Comment: a lot of camera shake - I can see the rope but you've got to hold the camera still. |

west coast fogby jdannelsComment: I love the details in the foreground and the sky, but as a whole it feels a bit unbalanced. Prehaps from a lower angle would have increased the shadowy foreground and brought the highlights a bit lower in the composition? |
