Intensityby loveComment: beautiful use of high contrast - would probably win the blue in that challenge but should also do very well in this one. like all good portraits you've captured the eyes perfectly - well done |

End Of The Lineby jrjrComment: magical! Post processing is spot on and composition is beautiful. I'm a sucker for a nice seascape and this fits the bill perfectly. |

Idyllic Eveningby jadComment: hard to see how a average shot like this fits a high contrast challenge |

Red monsterby The_squirrelComment: postprocessing a photo to be high contrast is not the same as finding a naturally high contrast subject and photographing it well - this is just plain terrible. |

Dare to stand outby KrisbyComment: several issues here stopping you from scoring well. Blury and unflattering photo. The colour treatment has managed to lose most of the detail in the skin. And for a high contrast challenge there is just way too much midtones. |

Tabeeatby kombizzComment: you will never score well with a photo that small - should be 640 pixels wide not 261. I'm not sure what you are trying to do with the colours but its pretty hard to judge from a what is almost a thumbnail. |

knock knockby gmarceauComment: wow that a interesting crop - I hate it but at least you've provoked a reaction from me. |

flip it isby shancanComment: the idea of the challenge was to use high contrast to improve the impact of a photo - you've used it to destroy whatever photographic quality there was. And you've also committed the DPC sin of not submitting a full size photo - your photo should be 640 pixels wide, not 500 - it makes a huge difference to your score. |
