I have an idea of how it's done, but I've never tried it, and this is done to perfection.
It's a good, clean, strong, simple image, something I like a lot, and the colours are great. The only thing I would change is to crop about half of the sky at the top off - I feel this would balance the image better.
Great work, classic theme with a twist, well done.

Spring Willow Bark

I like that you've managed to get a green background and it's blurred out very nicely. The DoF is perfect with good detail on the bark, and the diagonals are very strong.
The only thing I don't like is the out of focus part on the left hand side - if I cover it with my hand I see a much better, cleaner shot.
A good photo, and I do like it.

A good shot, nice composition & a great job burning the background out. I was thinking that the brand name would really restrict the possible uses for this shot, but I guess any ski shop that sells that brand could happily use it. Good work, well done.
