Great details on the underside of the mushroom. Wonder if there was a way to get more of that brilliant red topside into the frame for its a shame so little is shown? I think a closer zoom would allow the mushroom to shine more as the main subject. The leaves on the ground and the blade of green grass compete for the eyes attention. |

Nice capture of the leaves of autumn and the colors. The capture is good but I think it could be even better. There are just a bit too many leaves in the foreground to hold the eyes attention for the leaves in the midrange & background call to the eye as well. It is a little hard to point to where the eye should rest as the solid main focal point. Perhaps just focusing on three of the leaves getting some nice sharp details with the rest in deep bokeh is one way it would have been better. |

Capturing Autumnby RianBotesComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Good eye! The autumn leaf has fallen into the web the spider weaved. Love how the dewdrops of water showcases the latticework of the web. |

Autumn's Fury by pambComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Fine details captured here - love that you were able to capture the sweep of rain as it falls like a curtain just off to the left of the road. The dirt road acts as a leading line that draws our attention to and back on those brooding heavy clouds above. |

These dark days of autumn rain / are beautiful as days can be. by Bear_MusicComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Love the golden hues of the autumn grasses. This capture has a lot of great details for the eye to drink in from the textures of the rocks in the foreground to the bending stalks of grass. I like the leading line of the creek that curves and bends then goes off to the horizon. |

Stunning pales in comparison to the rich golds and oranges of the leaves! Great textures too - love the lattice like veins of the leaves. Great detail and bold colors that captures autumn very well! I think we will see this take a spot in the top three. |

spring has broken, like the first springby mikhaelComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Nice bold hues of orange and yellow on this flower (fully open tulip?). You have captured some nice details in the texture of the petals. I think that this would shine even more if the backdrop had either a more springlike backdrop of some bokeh greens. Or even a black backdrop that would allow those brilliant hues to really pop visually. The grey background just doesn't let it truly shine. |

Spring Frolicby jagarComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Look how incredibly happy that dog just frolics in the field of flowers!!! Love the motion capture of the one paw in the air ready to skip and the airborne ears. B&W tones are excellent. Great capture but I also wonder how stunning this looks in color. |

Here Comes The Sunby mefnjComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Absolutely love the light that brushes on the daisy and the green leaves. The cascade of bokeh rain is a really nice touch for it captures the essence of the saying "April showers bring May flowers." Nicely done. |
