And being able to steady the camera on the gorillapod gave you wonderful clarity and sharpness to this lovely market night scene. I like the angle looking down at the market for it gives us a clear view of what is inside the stalls but it also gives us a nice view of the decor of the golden flower lights that adorn the booths from above. I have only one tiny critique. I would crop that light post on the far right hand side out of the composition. It is a light that 'distracts' from the other beautiful lights seen in this scene such as the golden flowers and the lights from the christmas tree. In other words it is not complementry to the scene because the light is not festive decorative like the majority of all the other lights in the composition.

Your candy and/or treat shots are excellent. Love how the light sparkles on the crystal bowl and the open wrapper which shows us the delicious treat inside. Colors are wonderful and eye-catching. Your lighting on this and composition of elements is excellent....I also love how your visual treats are tasty to look upon but have no calories;-) (Enjoy by looking not by eating:-) )

Love the warm golden tones in this composition. Love the angle which is shot slightly from above looking down at the ornament - the ribbon acts like a path that points to the ornament. You have nice sharp details here too. Very nicely captured.

Wow! What a difference from the original. Love the color tones and the added texture to add visual interest to this lone tree landscape shot. The processing really brings out the play of light and shadow in the clouds, the tree, and the mountains in the backdrop. Nicely done.

A wonderful portrait of two musicians. I like how you have caught them in the act of playing...one has the bellows open and the other seems about to do the same as he hits the keys. I like the texture of 'old' paper overlay for the decor of the room seems 'old world' (looking at rug and at the style of sofa). It makes the photo composition appear older - a memory from the past captured on film.

ABSOLUTELY**B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L!!!The colors and the wonderfully sharp details on the stars and lights are great! Love this shot. Bold brilliant reds of the stars really capture the attention - perfect for attracting the attention of customers at this market fair. I also love that we see the lights strung up above and the people shopping in this open market square. It makes me feel as if I was there looking at all the lovely sights. New favorite! BTW Karen has a good point this would be a good shot for the Star challenge:-)

The colors and the subject is what captivates and holds our attention once again in these 'tasty treats' photos that you have been posting. Love how the white cup and the marshmellows really pop and contrast nicely with that bright blue background. The 'hot steam' rising from the cocoa is a nice touch that adds warmth to the scene and adds the sense of smell to the visual treat (can't you just smell the wonderful hot cocoa waiting for you to take a sip? - is how this speaks to me)

Simple and elegant presentation. Minimalism at it's best with the composition and colors. I will repeat what all others have said before: The colors are stunningly beautiful!!!! Love the curve of the calla lily flower as it pushes to the forefront off of the 'earthy' green backdrop (the wall). The red/violet & yellow hues of the flower captivate our attention.

What a wonderful set-up and love your attention to the details when telling the story:-) The little girl by the tree has fallen asleep with the book in hand and dreams of santa & presents in her head (like that little smile she has). Love the place card with Santa's name on it and the cookie crumbs giving us a clue that he had already been there and left. Colors and detail are great!! The book is Dr. Seuss...Green Eggs and Ham. Hmmm, while the food reference is a nice nod to the eaten cookies and the crumbs left on Santa's plate wouldn't "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" been a better choice (especially with the lines refering to crumbs...not even for a mouse and Cindy Lou Who)?

Do you believe in magic?

Yes, it starts with just one tiny spark...

Love the cool 'electic' blues in this composition. The addition of that one little sparkle to the tiny bulb held between two fingers adds the 'magic' to your capture.
