Mysterious and almost spooky even during the day. The light from the partially sunken ornate window with the sun pattern draws the eye in - the open door stands as an invitation to come in and explore the room. I see writing on the window panel frame on the left and it peaks my curiosity as to what it says -brings new meaning to 'if these walls could talk'. My only suggestion on how to further strengthen the 'story' of this place is the compositional crop. Cropping out the right portion of the wall just up to the right door frame would then make this a vertical shaped picture subtly complimenting the vertical lines of the door frame and the upright blue trunk

Wonderful color and clarity - I like how you captured a moment here. The story that speaks to me is that the horse is taking a drink when all of a sudden a noise breaks the quiet calm. The horse whips it's head up, water drips in a cascade from its mouth, as the horse looks for the source of the sound.

Love the color and details of this photo! Excellent job on capturing the hummingbird in mid-air!Great details in the head and wing of this ruby throat hummingbird as it takes a sip from the flower before zipping off to the next one.

Just Wow...now that is a dramatic shot! Fantastic composition capturing the orb of the setting sun 'resting' upon the gallery deck/catwalk and encircling the top portion of this lighthouse!

Fantastic colors in both the sky and land! What a breathtaking view! Love how the sky is reflected in the staggered rice paddies - it looks like glass in some spots.

There is an element of mystery that captivates my eye as I observe the scene you present. Smoke hangs in the air and a bit of flame burning on the dried vegetation. Two stones blocks, the one leaning on the other for support, convey a sense of loss while standing against the erosive elements. Is it all that survived the burn? And the figure off in the distance - is he/she a survivor of the fire that took their home or is it a firefighter seeking to put out the flames? Unknown - there is a story here and one that would be interesting to hear.

Great action, details and leading lines in this composition of a swimmer racing in the lanes. The splashing water gives a view of a freezed frame action moment and the swimmers arm and white line lead the eye to the top left corner where it is understood the goal is to finish the race in the best possible time. The grain, I feel, adds to the shot for their is a gritty rawness to this moment - you are brought right to the action as it happens in the here, in the now.

The chill in the air is soon forgotten once the rays of light break from the mountain top and then the land is blanketed with a magical glow that is beautiful to behold. Well done - beautiful capture of a magical morning!
