Beautiful capture and mood in this photograph! It speaks of the early morning blues where a cool breeze washes ashore. The ocean waves roll in as two people walk together on an empty beach sharing the moment of tranquility as they stroll towards the sleeping city. |

IMDB: I Am Curious (Blue)by Dr.ConfuserComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Love the close-up of the jeans bringing me closer to examine all the wonderful details, color hues, and textures of this clothing!! Your title made me curious so I did look at IMDB - interesting that there are two films, one blue and one yellow and both of those colors are present in this picture. |

Out to Seaby DistantColoursComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Wonderful minimalist capture! Great use of long term exposure to have the water appear smooth and mist like. The rods sticking out of the ground lead like a trail that my eye follows into the water. My only suggestion on how to further strengthen the composition is to crop the frame such that the first rod on the shore is in the bottom left corner. What that would do is strengthen the leading lines of this line allowing the eye to begin the journey at the bottom left corner, follow the line and then explore the ocean beyond. |

Life and Deathby vawendyComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
The circle of life on full display in this great close-up shot of the insect world. The spider has successfully caught the moth. Fantastic details from the moth wings to the spider, to the leaf. |

Wonderful colors and details in this photo! I especially love the color and details on the orange butterfly. The composition of elements is great too for you have the branch reaching out from the right corner to stretch across the frame. The butterfly is perched on the tip - ready to take flight. |

Ylva is practicing by BenarebyComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
The words on the playbook appear to spell out the word listen. This photo of this young musician practicing invites the viewer to stay a while and listen. I can see her concentration as she plays. You have a solid foundation but I think the composition could be stronger if it is cropped closer - bring us closer to the music and musician. Crop closer so that the girl playing her instrument fills 90% of the screen and you draw the viewer in more readily. |

Gulf Coast Sunsetby MinsoPhotoComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Beautiful sunset on the beach. The sky details and colors are lovely. Just my two cents - I do think that the rest of the composition is just a touch overcooked - the hues on the rocks in the forefront on the shore seems a bit too processed. Perhaps pulling back on the warm tones will help or dialing back a touch on the processing a bit. |

Zebra Aspirationsby jomariComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Zebra Aspirations or racing stripes...indeed the reflected strips along the cars is very hypnotic. Good eye to spot this interesting match-up. |

Play of Light at the Stage Doorby Catherine_BComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Literaly - a look behind the scenes. The viewer takes on the role of an actor and gets to see 'backstage'. Get B&W tones and I really like the shadowplay on the brick wall. I think the composition would be stronger if you cropped closer the the main elements - cropping out 1/4 from the left bringing the crop closer to the stage door and those fantastic shadows and you bring those two mains to the center stage. |

There's magic in blueby AmmieComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
Magic in blue indeed! The blue hue and hazy light casts an enchanting spell - the tree with weeping greenery seemingly radiates an aura of mystery and magic. For the curious and the brave, these woods invite exploration to discover the wonders beyond. |
