Rolling Hillsby TengLinComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
I like how the sunlight bathes the tops of the hills - the play of light and shadow is wonderful here. And nestled within the folds of these rolling hills is a herd of horses which not only add visual interest to the landscape but it also gives the viewer a sense of scale. My one suggestion is that the composition would be stronger and draw the eye in more readily if you cropped closer to the main section of the rolling hills. About 20% off the top and bottom as well as 25% off the left side would then bring the hills into the front and center focus. |

Man vs Natureby GeorgesBogaertComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
When I look upon your photo I think: the city nestled within the hills and mountains. The composition perfectly captures the stacked layers of nature, man, nature, and man again. The nighttime shot shows the juxtaposition of the two more clearly as that the dark rolling hills/mountains contrast greatly with the lights of the city. My only critique on this capture is that the green hue takes away from the photo - making it a straight B&W would further strengthen the contrasts between light and dark as well as the juxtaposition of man and nature. |

From Inside the Rabbit Holeby sjhulsComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
I really like the composition that places the viewer directly inside the picture. It feels like I am in the rabbit hole looking up and out at what is directly above me. Three clock faces look down into the hole staring at me, not quite giving me the time of day or being much help;-) I love this whimsical and colorful fun photo that places the viewer directly inside the world of Wonderland. |

Leisurely stroll by CY_PangComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
I am not sure if it is books or movies that line the shelves but one thing is for certain there are a great many of them! What a unique and interesting place to take a stroll! I would love to know the story of this place. I love the wavy shapes of the 'center' shelves. This indoor 'maze' would not be complete without someone or two venturing through and navigating this indoor space. Great find and good eye in composing this photo - wonderfully captured. |

Insideby BrinComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Lighting, composition, and details are fantastic in this shot! My eye travels all along the lines and angles in this building with such unique architectural features especially in the top floor and ceiling. This inside space is an exploration of shapes that the eye can travel up and down on. The inclusion of people is an added bonus for it gives one a sense of scale of this space. |

Upload Complete by HipychikComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Oh my gosh! Now that is an upload that is not kidding around...really this is a fantastic idea and very well put together! Love how the boy's hand and face are pressed against the screen for it really conveys that he is actually there. And for just a touch of whimsy there is the yellow vase off to the side with red feathery things that make me think of the trufflia trees from the Dr. Seuss story, The Lorax. |

Rendezvous with the Godsby Alex_PetriniComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Love the bold hues of oranges that pop off the black in this tunnel! Great light as the orange seems to glow. My eye travels along the pathway to discover another who 'walks' this path of unique beauty. Well composed, great details, and fantastic lighting - wonderful work! |

Blue Sunset & Seabirdsby PenelopeKComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Got to love those distinctive clouds that streak towards the horizon. Not only do they add beauty to the composition but they act as leading lines to draw the eye in. They are the pathways in the blue sky leading to the sunset. The cherry on top is the several seabirds that take flight in this pleasing seascape shot. Well done! |

Great Bluesby wildirisComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Great composition! I like how the nearly full moon rises next to the nest of Great Blue Herons. Great details on all the herons that are perched in the nest. A big plus that you captured the shot with the whole family; the two parents keeping watch and the two young ones between them. |

Blueberriesby P-A-U-LComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Blues all around and wonderfully presented in this food photography shot. The lighting, details and angle are fantastic. The beautiful blue bowl full with these tasty blueberries are offered to the viewer - inviting one to take some. Well done! |
