Love the low angle which makes that tower rather imposing. The tower is also perfectly framed under the neon arch that stretches over the street marketplace. Blue lights, blue neon signs light up the night. I feel like I am taking a night stroll in this marketplace. The mood, the lighting, the place - yes, this does take on the feel of being in one of the city streets in Blade Runner. Fantastic capture and well done!

Love this capture showcasing a moment in the day in the life of a house painter/contractor. It is just a slice of everyday life. I like how the vertical frame follows the height of the ladder giving the viewer the sight of seeing not one but two men at work. Great light, great details, and great composition of main subject - nicely done!

Blue flower macro

Very lovely macro that shows off the beauty of this flower with the blue tipped petals. Lighting, colors, and details are great. My critique is that the composition could be stronger. The center portion of the flower is in the bottom center of the frame and as such the photo feels 'static'. If you compose the center portion of the flower in a 45 degree angle in the bottom left corner the petals would 'appear' like they are bursting forth from that corner 'tricking' or giving the eye the impression of movement.

Take Flight

Great capture of this leaping lady as she leaps into the air. The action is freeze framed great with some water droplets coming off her feet and the dress billowing. Pose of the model invokes the idea of taking flight with the head up, back arched and arms straight back. I have one suggestion to strengthen the imagery of 'taking flight'. Take the shot at a lower angle with camera looking up - with a low angle the model will look like she is still leaping from the water but her flight will be into the sky rather than still in the water.

Blue Glass Blues

There is alot of beautiful blues in this still life composition. Lighting is fantastic and as that it can be challenging to get good light and definition to to glass - well done on that aspect! I do have Two critiques which is the composition is too busy and the arrangement of glasses is too linear. The swirling backdrop with patterns and varying hues in light and dark actually competes and distracts attention away from your main subject. A background that complements the subject with distracting would be better. The other suggestion is by layering or stacking the objects in a grouping you can add visual interest with the eye traveling around to and fro from front to back to discover all the interesting shapes, patterns and intersecting lines.

Beautiful minimalist composition that explores the blue color found within the folds and shapes of paper. A pleasing study of lines and curves this photo draws the eye in.

Clever rotation of this imagery creates a conceptual work with lots of symbology- An awakening; a 'rebirth' is present in this photo. To me, the swimmer looks like she is about to break free from the blue realm and open her eyes to a 'new world'.

Awesome view from inside a surfboard shack! Love the play on words with the title. Visually it is not a boring place at all - plenty to look at and plenty of selection for any surfer. Love the composition - you have the two rows of surfboards and there is one front and center that looks like it is getting buffed and cleaned. An interesting place to take a stroll and an excellent place for a photo opp!

Wow, there are such fantastic details in this close-up shot! From the textures on the green leaf to the patterns on body of the insect stretching, this photo brings the viewer into the sphere of this small world to observe it in stunning detail.

Love the blue tones throughout this stunning night time cityscape! The mood is magical with the city lights twinkling in the darkness seen in the rolling hills behind the tall building in the forefront of the photo. One can just distinguish the outline of a mountain region far off in the distance as the haze/clouds roll in. What a beautiful sight to observe - well done!
