Great portrait of a slice of life and disappearing 'Americana'. True barber shops seem to be disappearing and fading into the past. Tonal ranges of shadows & highlighs are nice and dynamic. Just a very small critique...I wish more of the word 'Barber' appears in the composition so that the connection of what the setting is becomes much more stronger.

What lovely detail in this seahorse! Love how he is curled around the seagrass and seems to be peeking out to see if it is safe. Lighting and color are well captured.

I love the magic of this composition! It does make you wonder if cats look up at the full moon as a great big ball of yarn or play toy that they would love to sink their claws into:-) Although, I don't know any cat that would be brave enough to be perched on a small island rock surrounded by water:-) All the cats I've ever known hate water. Still, very high marks on this wonderful creation because all elements are perfectly placed into the scene.

Love the juxtaposition of the two different set of wheels in this composition. One set of wheels is well cared for as seen as that the car is in the barn protected from the elements. The other set of wheels lies forgotten and rusting out in the fields as seen with the rusting bicycle. It makes me think - it could be a commentary on man's progression with technology. the bicycle was one good method of man-made transportation until the automobile came along and now it lies mostly rusting and forgotten. The bicycle has been replaced with a quicker and more room to transport goods & people method of transportation. Nice find and well composed.

B&W tones are just fabulous! Love the rays of sunshine that burst forth from the clouds to shine on the mountain valley below. What an awesome sight this must have been to experience. Lovely work!

Love the warm hues of orange/gold. The sweeping shapes, lines and curves is what makes this photo composition really eye appealing.

Even though the dog's head has been cropped off I find this image highly appealing...and it is because of the great expressions of both boy and dog. I see the boy's mouth as hanging down in astonishment while the dog's mouth is happily panting away with that great big tongue hanging out. The colors, composition of elements and details are just great in this little slice of life photo.

Love how the lines of light rays and shadows complement the lines of the street and vertical lines of the beams that hold up the overpass. The lone silhouette of the person adds visual interest for he could be symbolically walking towards the light (and a brand new day).
