19th Century Cryptby TitiaComment: I'm not sure I like the partial desaturation you used here. An interesting scene, but the darkness feels a little fake to me. |

La Basilique Notre Dameby DudskiComment: Wow! Somehow you didn't loose all the fine detail of this scene with such a wide shot and the limitation on photo size imposed by DPC. Great colors and lighting. |

Mystical chapelby nicklevyComment: I like this shot a lot, but there's something a little fake about it... the glowing cross on the top of the building is the biggest sign that there's something wrong here. |

salt lake templeby mbmcnabbComment: A very nicely done shot. I think the composition could have been improved, but I'm not quite sure how. A strong entry though. Would have also been a very nice night shot. |

Crucifixion Moonby 3DsArcherComment: The yellow and blue are very strong compliments. Strong tie to the challenge. And I'm a sucker for a good daytime moon shot. :) Great job! |

Miss Himby gsalComment: Very well done. I like the dark treatment of the surrounding earth and grass. Quite good composition, as well. |

The Grave Sitterby tinky2Comment: I really like the natural light that you used with this shot. I think the conversion to B&W was a good choice as well. Very nice photo. |

Street Side Shrineby neophyteComment: This is a really busy photo. I have no idea what I am looking at here. I think that if you had chosen a particular part of this scene to zoom in on, then the photo might have been more interesting. |

Alone In The Bright Morning Sunby KrisbyComment: I get the idea here, and I'm all for thinking outside the box, but...
I feel like this challenge called for a certain reverence, which this photo does not give to the topic.
Technically it is a really nice shot, but it relies on the title to be linked to the challenge... photos that speak for themselves are always stronger than those that rely on the title. The grainy post processing does add to the scene. |
