Crossing Overby violinist123Comment: Interesting choices made here, especially the narrow depth of field focused on the far end of the bridge. It's a neat idea, and is generally suitably executed, but I think for me the DoF doesn't work so well (though the more I look the more I feel it driving me to the person, which I like), and I would liked to have seen more contrast in tones throughout the image. |

Not Hard To Findby emily212Comment: A generally nice image, but one that doesn't pull me in for some reason; could be the lighting, which seems flat rather than shadowy (perhaps to help hide "Waldo" a bit more?), though composition works well for what is being accomplished here. |

There are TWOby TonyTComment: Mid-day lighting throws this off a bit, I think, as everything is uniform in lighting with stark shadows. The image is well composed, and the reflection in the water serves it well. The stick in the water is unfortunate, as are those on the shore, but on the whole it serves its challenge purpose suitably. |

Waldo's traveling spiritby joekentComment: Nice lines in this; makes me want to walk along the sidewalk and look into the water. The dark shades of blue suit it well, and though the lights distract me a bit in their blurriness, the overall appearance is generally good. |

Fallen Tree in Paradiseby lovethelightComment: I had this at a 6, and came back to comment. I'm not sure what I was thinking. There are delightful elements to this, and the composition works really well, both in terms of general strength but also in terms of meeting the challenge. The choice of shutter speed provides wonderful results in terms of flow of the water, and the light throughout is quite nice. Definitely not a 6 (it's an 8). |

on a day hikeby ursulaComment: Interesting, almost painted colors here, with nice plays of light across the path and the trees. Not much going on beyond the challenge theme (searching for Waldo), and I may have tried a lower angle or something closer to the path to give some flow to the image, but that may not have worked in the circumstances of the shot. |

Limestoneby ZoomdakComment: Interesting shot, with nice lines, though I might have started the lower line from a bit more to the right. I like that your model is in focus, and that the "hiding" effect comes not from making her small, but from her blending in in terms of color and shade. Nicely shot. |

Fence repairby dsternerComment: I hate having to do this kind of thing, so seeing the image presented as it is here, with the faded colors blending into one another and no real plays or light or dark, and it makes me feel like I would if I was out there doing it (wishing for more excitement but not finding it, I guess). I might have moved the fence and "Waldo" up a bit, to strengthen the composition, but I'm not sure. |

Where's Waldo? I don't know...I thought he was with you!by litlbopeepComment: Interesting image, with lots going on, and good choice on the shutter speed to give some flow to the image. The fading in the background is a bit disappointing, as I would have liked to have seen a bit more tone there, but overall it meets the challenge well and provides interesting things to see. |

Where the Streets Have No Nameby raishComment: I really like the subtle colors in this shot, all of them pale, nothing too bright. To catch a street at this time of day (which looks mid-morningish or early afternoon) with no people on it is a great catch, and the composition works well for me. I might have tried to use perspective correction to get the buildings on the right straight, as the leaning is a bit troublesome to me (but I might have botched that if I had tried, I don't do that very well). |
