From the Sun's Raysby JEFFJSBComment: Great contrast. I would have preferred to see the flower placed a little lower in the frame. The horizontal placement is fine. |

Suggestiveby TroutbearComment: I like the concept of this shot but I think there are elements of the shot that detract from your theme. I think the eye is drawn away from the subject to the bright spot on the floor. Then there is the dark negative space above it that serves no purpose, IMHO. If you had set the shot up so that the shoe and other clothing were lit by the light pouring in on the floor, it would be a good starting point. Then if you could position it such that the shoe leads the eye to the slightly OOF female it would have greater impact.
*edit: FWIW, I don't believe it deserved the final score it received. Message edited by author 2005-09-23 15:28:41. |

Let's go back home !by richabhatiaComment: If you straighten your horizon and crop some of the top your composition would be stronger. Also a little noise reduction would clean up the graininess. Some people like the grain, I personally prefer a more smooth look. |

City Lifeby MAKComment: I like you composition with the 2/3 sky but I can't help wonder if the composition would have been that much stronger if the "wheel" had been intersected by the left vertical 1/3 line. I say this because it's an anomoly on the skyline and the eye would be more drawn to it and the whole composition could work around it. |
