Memento Moriby mannjuditComment: Wow, how did you get the unearthly glowing effect in the sky? I also like how this shot left me puzzling, and therefore required me to go and find out the cultural references and meaning of the title. Pity you put a great lump of iron post right in shot though. |

Wedgesby TallblokeComment: Great composition, leads the eye down to the splash of colour which is, rather satisfyingly, the subject ie: wedge shaped shoes. The fantastic legs on the model will bump the marks up no end as well i'll wager. ;) |

Perferred Shoeby mandradeComment: omg!!!
...ouch. The shot is powerful if only just for that reaction. Composition-wise, might be nitpicking here, but with balance being the theme, showing more of the shin to equal the shoe, and make them meet in the centre would seem more 'balanced'.
again i say OUCH! |

Red Bootby painthorseComment: Very contrived, and far too busy making the boots lose their battle for dominance as the main subjects entirely |

Barefootby mihaibadicComment: Less is more, and I usually agree with this principle, however if that was the case, then why not follow it right through and wait for the clouds to move entirely from shot. Either that or go for a different angle and sillhouette the shoes against an amazing colourful sunset, or deep blue sky. I like this version of the dangling shoe theme the best so far though. |

Ghosts in the Hallsby xuan768Comment: Excellent job, and well done on both the conceptual work leading up to, and the execution of this shot. I love shots like this, and you've really captured both the movement, and just enough extra of the shoes to make them the focus of the shot. I wondered at first if I should nit-pick about the corridor being too bright for a 'spooky' atmosphere, but the more I look the more I really like this image. 10 |

Little Feetby livitupComment: The shot doesn't look controlled, and has far too much going on besides the 'little feet'. Cropping the untidy parts like the blanket and nappy (diaper) till you're left with just the feet and hand helps a lot. The sock/shoe comparison hasn't been developed as strongly as it could be. |

Beach Shoesby jewelk12Comment: perhaps a different title, since there's no sand, and it's clearly not a beach. It just looks like a snapshot while out walking by the shore, could have worked on developing a theme or make a comment on the style of shoe. Black socks with the sandals would have at least given the viewer a chuckle. |

The Streakerby TabbyCatComment: Nice concept, and good composition, just a shame it could have been executed better. take the dirt on the boots first of all. and they could have been lit better to accentuate the contrast with the otherwise plain background. And maybe a slight blur on the boots would have helped the effect. |
