I like the mist on the right hand side of the image, and the overall composition is awesome. It makes me think of a divisional element in life - Good vs Evil, Light Vs Darkness etc, and the ongoing road in between.

My son was born on the 16th of September, and looking at this I get that same strange overbubbling feeling of joy whenever I look at him.

I think this image truly captures and showcases the vulnerability of a newborn and the significant impact that the world can have on it.

Furthermore I am at a loss of words... this is actually quite moving.

Made it a favorite.

At first i'd have to say I was very intrigued, however the more I look at it, the more the left part of the image started to bother me. I feel the left (her right hand) hand needs a tad more lighting to suit the lit hair on top as it's a tad too dark for me.

Overall though, i love the way you captured the hair, and the look on the model is well captured.

Yeah, I think i feel what the other comments are saying here.

You have a very nice lighted subject here, and the candid is well captured. However, the 'blackness' is very distracting, and it's unfortunately the thing that makes this shot good as opposed to brilliant.

I really like this, and think the 'blurry' comment is a little inaccurate. The soft focus, angle and processing creates an image that's very pleasing to look at. If I had to nitpick here, I'd say the corner that is cropped off in the bottom left breaks it a little, but otherwise it's a very nice piece of work.
