Great out of the box. I really love seeing images that grab your attention or make you think. I like the approach you took by giving it the title 'Mountain View of Beach & Ocean' it brings an abstract approach to the contest. I think in an art class this image would have greatly impressed the teacher. The shadows across the image are also interesting, I don't think the shot would have worked as well with no shadows. I think I would have to agree with other in the sandals being my favorite part. I think the shoes express the title to the fullest extent. The only small thing I could see it the image seems little soft, maybe a tiny bit more focus. I would not sharpen the image. Its hard to tell if there is noise in the right hand side of the tile or if it is the tiles themselves. Good job.

This is a great shot. The colors are so vibrant, excellent time of day. I love the focus you used on the fence post to give the photo a subject, not just a basic landscape image. I love the contrast, as well it really help the plants on the right side of the post not get lost into the field. It almost looks like the plants on both sides of the fence are not the same field but very different areas. The depth of the right side really grabs my attention when I am able to sit and look at the shot. I saw the comment about the background being soft, but I don't know if I would like the image as much if it was too strong, it would take away from the real focus. This is just a great shot. I think it was just a hard category with so many landscape to grab viewer attention.

Wow this is an amazing shot. The flow of the water is the first thing that grabs my attention. What an wonderful corner of the world. The overall image is just prefect. The coloring, lighting and composition are all at the best level possible. A very well deserved top 20. I think the people at this level are just competing between what the voter likes best in appearance because the quality is so amazing. I love to see breath taking shots like this. I wish I had more critiques for you but this just an excellent job!

Wow this is an excellent shot of The flowers. I would have loved to see the flowers a little more connected to a garden in your corner of the world, but this is just a great shot. The colors and composition are beautiful. The background defiantly enhancing the enchanting colors of the flowers. I think you have applied the law of thirds perfectly without over doing it, by including three flowers. Personally I am not the found of border but I guess it does draw some extra attention into The photo. The lighting is also great. The only thing I could possibly see would be the stem on the large flower looks like it is moving. Good job.

Very interesting corner that you have picked. This shot defiantly makes the viewer look twice to see what is here, and of course some voters might have just blown on by. I really do like the original thought. The coloring seems a little off, I seem to notice it the most in the bottom right corner. The lighting seems off because of the coloring of the green on the bottom compared to the greens located on the upper part of the image. I think you have more of an abstract view, which is something I love to see. Good job!
