Mexican girlby GujaComment: I think I'd have liked to see a tighter crop, or less "dead-center" composition. The expression on the subject's face is wonderful, and I love how the big green sombrero fits the theme of this challenge, but the technical shortcomings of this shot cannot be over-looked, and thus it cannot garner a very high rating. |

Tones of greenby nagymelisComment: And tons of blur. I somewhat like the abstract quality of this image, but, amidst several truly excellent photographs, I can't give this shot a very high score. |

The Ripple...by IreneMComment: Sorry, but nothing seems to be in sharp focus, and that really hurts an image like this. |

Flying Saucerby KenComment: I'm not sure what I'm looking at, but it seems to be less sharp than I'd like it to be. Overall, the shot does very little for me. |

Grandma's Revisitedby messerschmittComment: I think that the bike's being dead center (horizontally) makes for an uninteresting picture. Other than this, the framing is nice, but, overall, the shot doesn't do very much for me. |

Green Natureby yfellowComment: Focus goes too soft toward infinity, and the difference between the highlights and the shadows appears too great to be pleasing. It looks as though you were before a beautiful scene, but, unfortunately, this photograph doesn't capture things very enchantingly. |

Liquid Greenby ralfwComment: Honestly, I can't even really tell what I'm looking at. It's not bad, bit it's not great, either. |

Indian Greenby arvinderComment: Sute kid, but it (the picture) looks more like a (decent) "snap-shot" more than anything else. The flash makes for flat lighting, and a softer focus (or wider aperture for a more out-of-focus background) might have been pleasing. |

Trees and Leavesby bjoernComment: I think the contrast is just a bit too high here. The extreme dark at the bottom is pleasing, but utterly over-powered by the blown-out center. A little more saturation might have helper, but, even then, I'm not sure by how much. An OK shot, that doesn't quite "do it" for me. |
