The time when hand washing was the norm. I think you've done a good job. This could have been more impactful without the modern looking bra. Fits nicely into the challenge

Interesting image. I think it is one of the few "2005" titled shots that fits the challenge. The photo isn't something I normally gravitate to.

The fit with the challenge just isn't there. I'm guessing you are trying to say that this is the start of WW II, but it could have easily been Sarejevo or the hunt for Bin Laden or many other conflicts. The photo isn't conveying to me the 1939 feel.

This shot just isn't doing anything for me. I know that isn't very constructive ... The harsh light, flaring, spots in the sky area are all distractions and I'm not getting the strong sense of an era like some of the other photos do. JMO

The items seem to fit okay with the challenge. The arrengement seems too placed for a good still life. IMHO.

A nice still life. The backgrond photo gives more of a period feel than the whiskey bottle so the challenge fit is just okay for me.

Those table and chairs really do say 50's. Composition is nice. I like that the table and chairs stand out colour-wise. Decent fit into the challenge.
