The colouring in the photo seems a bit off to me. Maxwell's Silver Hammer appears gold on my monitor at work and at home. The still life is rather sparse to keep my interest peaked. JMO.

Sunset on field

This is a very nice photo indeed and as such, I give it some points for that. The photo does not "depict an era in time" as the challenge suggests and the title isn't helping to point me to an era either. This would be a very nice photo for a sunset challenge or a harvet / working in the fields challenge.

An interesting scene. The cropping is a bit of a question in my mind. The partial building on the right and the tight crop on the left house give me an uncomfortable feeling about the crop. Eliminating the building on the right and giving just a bit more room on the left side of the left house would have bee nicer. The modern day SUV coming down the hill kind of ruins the 1960 feel of the photo for me. JMO.

Based on you title, the weeds are the main subject in this photo. For me, I would like to see the weeds take a prominent place in the photo. I find that the pole is what me eye goes to the most.

A fitting image for the challenge. Compositionally, I think a more off-centred view of the goddes would have made a slightly more pleasing photo. The dead centre positioning of her face tends to create a static picture ... my eyes tend to gravitate to her face and prevent exploration of the rest of the photo. JMO.

An interesting still life and fitting for the challenge. The pictures of James Dean and Einstein are a little too white for the rest of the image, IMHO.

A nice fit into this challgne. This photo certainly depicts a different way of life and a different time. Technically, The bonnet is a little over-exposed and the shadow on the lady's face is a bit distracting. Maybe waiting to see if she turned her head into the light would have given more even light on her face and cut down the exposure on the bonnet.

I'm soooo glad this era has passed!! I nice shot. Good B&W tones. The photo is a good fit into the challenge, IMO. Maybe a wider view of the outhouse would make a slightly more pleasing photo. A shot that gives a wider sense of the area, including more trees, might convey the walk to the outhouse from the living cabin.

I really like the look of this ... sort of a Twilight Zone of the Twilight Zone. The broght spot on the centre of the Twilight Zone text is a bit of a distraction. Good fit into the chalenge.
